Founders
Luminary was founded by Aditya Kaul.
It started from a personal frustration — reading without truly understanding. Whether it was chatbot answers or books, things often didn't fully make sense. What was missing was a tool that could explain things when, where, and how it was needed — one that could break ideas down clearly, reveal deeper insight into thinking, and feel thoughtfully designed.
That didn't exist.
AI made it possible to finally solve this, but not by default. It required top-tier taste, careful craftsmanship, and a very specific approach to UX, thinking, and learning. No one else was building for that.
The one category he had no intention of building in was anything related to learning or education. It felt unstylish, uninspired, and poorly designed around how people actually think and learn. Yet that is exactly why Luminary was built — the very things that pushed him away are what shaped how Luminary was designed, and its approach to redefining how people think, learn, understand, and interact with information.
Understanding was scarce. Learning felt tedious and rigid, and most tools lacked taste, design, or any real sense of care. Luminary sets out to fundamentally redefine learning in a way not previously possible.
